DEFINITION OF PROTEIN CARBOHYDRATES WATER AND FATS DEFINITION

DEFINITION OF PROTEIN

DEFINITION OF PROTEIN-made from carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, and sometimes sulfur elements.Protein molecules are very large, so they can not be found in our blood. They are converted into amino acids by our digestive system. These are 23 amino acids, out of which 9 amino acids should be available in the diet. These amino acids are used by the body to produce blood, muscles, nails, skin, hair and internal organs.Protein builds new tissues in our body, repairs broken tissues, regulates the balance of water and acids,Carries oxygen and nutrients to cells and forms anti-bodies, definition of protein.

As a result of the excessive use of protein in the diet, especially animal protein use, heart disease, kidney stone, osteoporosis can occur.Pond per body weight requires only 0.36 grams of protein. If the proper amount of protein is not taken in the diet, then children become deficient in diseases like -Marasmus and Kwashiorkor, definition of protein.

CARBOHYDRATES DEFINITION

Carbohydrates definition, are the most important sources of energy. They contain elements of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen. The first part of the name “carbo” means that they have carbon. “Hydr”, the second part of the name, means that they contain hydrogen. The third part of the name, “Ate” means that they contain oxygen. In all carbohydrates, the ratio of hydrogen atoms and oxygen atoms is 2 : 1 ,Just like the water ( H2O). Carbohydrates are actually Organic-compounds, which are important for different digestive function in our body. There are many differences between carbohydrates and other nutrients such as proteins and fats.Generally it has been observed that carbohydrates in the diet require less water than protein and fat, carbohydrates definition.

There are two main types of carbohydrates such as simple carbohydrates and carbohydrates complex. Glucose, Fructose, Galactose, Sucrose, Maltose, and Lactose etc are called simple carbohydrates. These types of carbohydrates are soluble in water, they contain crystalline, they are sweet in taste, they are called sugar.Starch, Dextines, Glycogen and Cellulose are called complex Carbohydrates or Polysaccharides. Their taste is not sweet, they are insoluble in water, they are also not crystalline. The main difference between the types of carbohydrates is actually due to their chemical synergy. The chain of chemical compounds of simple carbohydrates is smaller than the chain of chemical compounds of complex carbohydrates.

WATER DEFINITION

Water Definition, is a compound that is made from hydrogen and oxygen elements in the proportion of 2: 1. Our blood contains 90% water. It helps in transporting nutrients to body cells. It also plays an important role in removing waste material from the body. It also regulates body temperature. It is also necessary for various chemical reactions. It is very essential for the body’s metabolism.UNICEF says that the water incorporates macro nutrients as a part of it. Macro nutrients are used in excess quantities. It is also taken in more quantity, it is a part of macro nutrients.

FATS DEFINITION

Fats Definition, The percentage of elements called carbon, oxygen and hydrogen in fat is 76, 12 and 12, respectively. This is very important for many body functions.Fat keeps us warm and protects the soft organs.Fats helps in the production of hormones . Fat can be classified according to its structures. There are different types of fat in the body, which react differently inside our body. There are three different groups of fats in the diet such as saturated fat, polyunsaturated fat and monounsaturated fat, fats definition.

Taking excess amount of saturated fat increases the risk of heart diseases, because it increase cholesterol levels in the blood. This type of fat is found in fast food, pastry and biscuits.Polyunsaturated fat and mono-unsaturated fat helps in reducing the level of cholesterol in the blood. Polyunsaturated fat is good for some level than mono-unsaturated fat. Fat is necessary in Diet, but its volume should remain limited, fats definition.
